This week we had finalized the stack we are going to use for the development and go thru the slide to see which part we need to change to make it better. We will also writing the SRS documentation in coming Monday.
Although I personally prefer python, go or nodejs as the backend language, I personally have experiences in developing in python with Flask. Go and Nodejs are currently trending language for web backend as Go is newly built compiled language by Google to solve their server overload, which can utilize the server efficiently and Nodejs can offer better experiences in term of integrating front-end and back-end as both is javascript.
Due to majority choose to compare between c# and php, so I vote for php as c# with .Net framework is not development friendly for OS X, beside that I do have a few friends are expert in php, I can request for advise when needed.
